Hope this is in the right section. We noticed a Honeywell 2000I generator at Costco the other day. The operating voltage 2kW is higher then the comparable Honda 1.6kW at 1/2 the price. 11 lbs heavier then Honda. DBs not listed.
Does anyone have any experience with Honeywell??
Thanks for any info as well as opinions.

I got one from Costco this spring, the gen works fine, sometimes difficult to start. I may have a problem with the shut down switch as it will start right away after I operate the switch a couple of times. The biggest drawback is that it won't run the air conditioner which I believe is 13500BTU. I have a '11 Flagstaff 8528RLWS. Hope this helps.

Thanks seatosea: The Honeywell specs say 2kW continuous. Dometic specs state 10 amps (1.2kW) max draw........but I've read as high as 14 amps on some forms. Still within the 2kW range.
The Honeywell sounds like a poor alternative to Honda based on your problems.
I'll look at Yamaha 2000 as their continuous output is also higher then Honda.
