hotpoint micro/convection replacement

our new (2016) montana came with the hotpoint OTR microwave/convection oven this is absolutely a POS. took back to dealer because the convection never worked in my opinion was told that's how they work no warranty . after 15 minutes of preheat open the door and my temp gun reads high of 88 deg. ambient temp 73deg. so I'm now stuck with a decent microwave and below acceptable convection oven. we have an oven that we use but there are times we want 2. home for a couple of weeks so I am going to replace.
looking at amazon and other appliance sites on reviews they are all over the place, looking for some help from fellow RV's on this one.

thank you

We have the Sharp convection/microwave and have been using it for 7 years. We are snowbirds and live in the camper for at least 4 months every year. The Sharp has worked very well, no complaints.

And when you contacted Highpoint for service on the manufacturers warranty of the microwave what did they say? Technically your warranty from Hotpoint started the day you bought the coach and they are the ones who should be repairing or replacing the microwave if its defective. Also a call to the coaches maker reporting their dealers unwillingness to assist you with a defective appliance installed in the coach probably would be another appropriate action.

The 850 watt Sharp originally installed in my 2001 which is almost 17 years old still bakes corn bread and soda bread just fine. If you do decide to replace the oven out of your own pocket HomeDepot the last I looked still had the 850 watt Sharp Convection Microwave available that's been the standard for motor homes for almost 20 years now.

Note that 850 watts is a critical detail as most motor homes are not really wired to support the full powered residential models that require a dedicated 20 or 30 amp outlet or 220 volt models.
