House battery not charging

Hello there! We have 3 brand new house batteries and have been boondocking a fair amount. We normally don't go under 11v on the indicator panel even with a couple days' use. A couple days ago we started at 11v, drove about 300 miles, and afterwards our panel still read 11v. We have the style of generator that requires the shore power cord to be plugged into the rv. Normally we unplug it but this time we forgot to disconnect it. I'm wondering if this could be a possible explanation for why we didnt charge while we were driving?

I don't know what machine you have but on mine there is a boost switch and that switch connects the battery's when going down the road. An oil pressure switch signals the boost to latch. Its easy to test. You measure the chassis and house banks at rest the.n start the coach. You should see both banks showing something over 13V and the voltage should be identical. If the same its working correctly. If not then have a helper depress the boost switch and hold while you check voltage. If different then the problem is the boost solenoid or connections.
When I had a problem it was the oil switch
