I have a coachmen catalina that has been sitting for two years. Today I hook up the bottles and I'm not getting any gas to the water heater yet the green light is on inside. Any one have any suggestions? Thanks

Well... is this a trailer? The connection to the "Bottles" Is this a POL (Prest-o-light, or Put On Left) this threads INTO the tank and is left handed) or is it an Acme (Right hand threads ON TO the tank.

Acme fittings (And this applies to the tank) have a safety device in them and if the conneciton is not tight may not release gas.

There may be an EXCESS FLOW valve, to reset this shut off thanks,, Go have a cup of coffee, tea, or whatever,, SLOWLY turn on the gas, if you hear gas flow STOP.. when you no longer hear anything open a bit more.. Just till it flows again, continue till full on.

Your regulator.. if it has an automatic change over valve, do it manually.

Those are the primary.

NOW.. After that we have such issues as a propane cut off valve, not common on trailers but I've seen them on RV's. it is powered by the propane detector No power, No propane.

And then we have spiders, they nest in the gas jets and have to be cleaned out.

Of course.. On my furnace, it was none of the above.. but that only meant it was easier to fix (DSI ignitor points too far apart, Out of two DSI furnaces, one oil (house) one gas (RV) I've worked on that has been the problem.... both times)
