I have a 23' SHASTA Freedom Class "C" Motorho me and it is equiped with a Generator. How do I remove an ONAN Genset 4.0 BFA-IR Gasoline operated generator from my motorhome? I don't drycamp so I really don't need the generator installed but want to get some better gas mileage. Can anyone help guide me? Thanks in advance.

This is not the answer you're looking for, JMHO: I doubt you'd realize any substantial increase in mileage w/o the Gen. If your dash air quits you still have house A/C with the gen. If your refer fails to work on gas it may still work on gen. power. If your engine alternator quits you can start the gen., switch on the house batts and keep running (happened to me). I can think of more reasons to keep the gen. then reasons to remove it................anyone else??
