We have a 2006 Georgetown SE MH.
I've been told multiple times that there is a electric / gas switch outside so I can change from propane to electric to heat my water. I don't think we have this switch cause I've been looking for three years! I am also told its hard to find. Anyone know WHERE I might find this switch to select electric?

On my panel with switches and tank levels, security lights, the builder placed a electric WH switch. Not all builders do this some WH's have switch on face of WH some have a switch on back of water heater that you can see if your WH can be seen from rear, as under the sink. Some provide a access hole under MH or trailer floor that you can reach through to back of WH to turn on switch. You will have to remove a cap the size on your sewer hose outlet hole.

Welcome to irv2 by the way.

There is no "changeover" switch. There is an On/Off for electric mode and another on/off for propane. You can even have both on at the same time if you wish (heats the water faster).

The bad news is there is no standard location for either switch. Literally could be almost anywhere. My electric switch is in a bathroom cabinet and the gas switch by the kitchen sink.

Look for a 120v switch, it may (should) have a lighted toggle or other light to indicate that it is on. Mine is at the kitchen sink very near the water heater.l
