Was using my jacks and when I pushed the front jacks button, they kept operating after I stopped pushing the button. Had to turn off keypad. Turned keypad back on and the right jacks did the same thing. Also, the left jacks button and the rear jacks button do not operate. They were operating before the other two buttons "stuck".
Fluid is at proper level. Tried unplugging the control panel also. Still same problem.

Actually my jacks are not HWH.
They are KWIKEE Level Best 3000 System
Sorry for any confusion. Any help is appreciated.

It sounds like the motor solenoid is what stuck. I would recommend changing the solenoid and making sure the cable connections to the new one are clean and tight.

Mike, thanks for the info. As it turned out, it was low voltage. I had to replace my coach battery, but what you suggested was good advice.
Thanks for taking the time for me.

Mike, After I charged the old battery, the jacks worked fine. I put a new battery in and they worked fine again. Next time I went to use them, same problem again!!! I will take you advice and clean the contacts, and get a new solenoid if I still have a problem. I hope I don't have problems finding the solenoid if I need it.
You aren't a Master Technician for nothing. Sorry I didn't listen to you the first time, but when they worked after the new battery, I thought they were fixed.
Again, tour advice is very much appreciated and I feel lucky to get it.
Best to you & yours.

I had that system on my 06 Winnebago Voyage. I let my engine battery run down and got the engine started and everything charged up. When we went to leave a few weeks later my controller powered up but would not control the jacks. After talking to Winnebago CS, they had me remove the control panel and disconnect the power connector for a a few seconds. After I reconnected the power connector everything worked fine. Seems that the CPU controller in the control head had locked up when the battery was discharged. I installed a Trick-L-Start to keep the engine battery charged and never had a problem with it again. Good luck....

Mike, I ordered the Kwikee Jack Motor Control Solenoid (Part 906970000) from the Any RV Parts store on EBay. I received the solenoid I ordered, but it is not the same solenoid that I cleaned the contacts on which is located on the pump assembly. I don't see another solenoid located anywhere in the installation instructions for the Kwikee Jack Level Best 3000 System. Where do I find the Motor Control Solenoid?
Thanks.

I am not sure what the solenoid you received looks like but could it be a replacement? Since Power Gear bought out Kwikee things have not always been the same and I think it could be a change. Could the solenoid be mounted the same as the original? Do you want to post a picture of it?

I called the company I ordered it from and spoke to their "Kwikee Expert". I voiced concern because the part looked different. He said it was the correct part and that HWH had also changed some of their parts.
I put the part on and also unplugged the control panel to reset it. The jacks still do exactly the same as before. After I plug the control panel back in, start the engine and turn on the conrol panel, the left front & left rear jacks start going down by themselves and won't stop until I turn off the control panel. When I turn the control panel back on nothing is moving until I push the front button and then the left front & right front jacks start down but won't stop until I turn off the control panel. When I turn it back on nothing is moving until I push the button to activate the right front & rear jacks and they start down and won't stop until I turn off the control panel. When I turn the control panel back on, nothing is moving. When I push the button for the rear left & right jacks, nothing happens. When I push the button for the left side front & rear jacks, nothing happens. The "all up" button puts all jacks back up okay, although there is a squeal when they are almost up. Fluid level is fine. Could it be the control panel?
Thanks.

Ah, now we have a new scenario! Going down by themselves. This would indicate a control panel/controller communication issue. Find the controller (usually mounted on the bottom of the main floor in a compartment) unplug the data cable coming from the key pad. Also unplug the other connectors for a few minutes. After a few minutes plug everything back in and hopefully things will return to normal. If not, it would have to be diagnosed as to which (I suspect the key pad) is defective. Let us know what happens after the reset.

Found the controller and unplugged both cables for several minutes. Plugged back in and as soon as I turned on the control panel the left jacks were working without me touching the button and they only stopped when I turned off the control panel. Everything was exactly as before. I may bite the bullet and let the high dollar dealer fix them.

If you are able to turn the system on and off at the key pad, I bet the controller is bad; probably a stuck relay.

Thank you for your help. Sounds like we tracked the problem down. I have an appointment Thursday for the Norcold recall, and I told them to fix my jacks too.
