HWH Leveling Jacks

Can someone please verify for me if my leveling jacks work off of the engine battery or the coach batteries?

My 96 Bounder works off the engine battery. Emergency brake must be applied, for operation not just the Automatic brake. Key must be on and can even be running. Had to clean battery terminals this spring as one of the stack was corroded bad.
Hope this help and it is specific, I think , to my unit.

I am going to assume that my 610 system is powered by the chassis battery bank since I have to turn ignition key to ACC to operate.

On my Southwind, the Power Gear hydraulic pump gets power directly from the chassis battery.

Current 95 Gulfstream and prior 95 Holiday Rambler both on chassis battery.

mfg's decide which battery to use, whether its hwh or some other leveling system.hwh recommends using the chassis battery, at full charge. running the engine gives a less than average battery enough power to run the pump. it takes 105 to 145 amps to run the pump motor.
mfg's also get to decide whether the chassis battery is charged by the inverter/converter.
some put a trickle charger into the system for the engine battery. some don't.
most put an emergency start in the system also
what im trying to say is i dont know. without seeing it, i can only guess.
you should reference your operators manual for that information.
you should also have a service manual.
