Just because you don't know what you are talking about doesn't mean you should call other people idiots. There are several brands that require the coach to be at ride height whenever the slides are moved. They include Beaver and Entegra. I know because I have owned both of these brands.

remove the touch pad, and remove the plug on the rear. check it for loose wires. take a knife of a small screwdriver, and make sure all wires are seated in the plug. if it worked two or three times when you removed and reconnected the plug, you are getting a bad connection. either that or a bad touch panel. you can check that by following the diagnostics in the service manual. use a 12 volt tester and check each wire in the plug for operation. the function of each wire is described in the manual.
