Hydro Hot not hot

I only get about 110 degrees out of the Hydro Hot with either the diesel burner or the electric on, after any reasonable time. Is there an adjustment for temp on it? This is on an '03 beaver. My wife wants real hot water for washing dishes !

Terry,

There is a " tempering" valve in the hot water output line inside the unit. I'm not familiar with the layout inside the Hydro Hot. On the bigger AquaHot the tempering valve is underneath the blower motor assembly and is accessible when the unit is puller out to replace the nozzle. The tempering valve has an adjusting knob which should be exercised by turning to its stop in both directions every time maintenance is performed. At the age of your coach, replacing the internals and bonnet of the valve might give the best results.

For parts and service advise I would point you toward this web site owned by Roger Burke.

The tempering valve on your Hydro hot is located on the backside of the case where opposite of where it gets the annual maintenance done. It could well be that or a few other things such as "short cycling" due to a bad control thermostat. Also the antifreeze mixture and ambient temp of the water plays a factor but rarely is the issue.

Thanks for all the replies. After contacting Roger, I tested and found that the faucet in the kitchen is mixing cold with hot even with the lever at full hot. Also the incoming water temp is cold from the well, so the HH is doing its job correctly.
