In our old RV, we had propane gas and it had 4 burners. Never any issues with what we wanted to cook and how long it would take. Although I love the look of the induction cook-top (very high tech), it is not realistically that practical for those of us who do some serious cooking. I'll learn to adjust.

Since good food is important to us, we've managed to equip our MH kitchen with:

-a GE Profile Microwave/Convection oven
-a Gaggenau 2-burner cooktop
-a counter top Breville convection oven/toaster
-a Circulon counter-top induction burner
-a Samsung residential refrigerator

Of course, added to that are a Cuisinart, a KitchenAid mixer, and a Zojirushi bread maker and a full set of All-Clad pots and pans.

Professional - Precise - Safe Efficient - NuWave PIC As Seen on TV

I bought two of these and have not removed the stove cover since. I can run them both on high on one circuit. You won't run them on high for long. They will get your pans incredibly hot in a few seconds. They have actual temp settings which work great. I move them around on the counter so never any issues with pot size. They can be run on a picnic table too.

Hmm. Might have you beat:

GE Advantium Oven
Seaward 2 Burner Gas cooktop
(I forget brand) single burner countertop induction unit
Maytag residential Fridge
Zojirushi Rice Cooker
Zojirushi Bread Maker
Sous Vide Demi water oven
Cuisinart mini food processor
KA Hand Mixer (had a big 5qt tabletop model, left it at summer lot)
Cuisinart coffee machine and some fancy european brand burr grinder
no-name toaster
lots of cookware

Different strokes ....

I don't live in an RV full time and, although I appreciate fine tools, I don't care that much about the appliances in either my home or RV to spend that much money. If it takes me twice as long to boil water for spaghetti I just have a little more wine . However, if you enjoy cooking that much I can understand your concern.

I'll see you and raise you a Cuisinart coffee maker and a Solis burr grinder.

We'll have to meet up somewhere and cater a banquet!

I have a brand new high end induction range in my house. There are four burners and they share two induction inverters. I think this must be standard for elements to share with induction.

He forgot the programmable pressure cooker and the Cuisinart slow cooker. The burr grinder he mentioned is from Bodum. Cookware is All Clad, Le Creuset and my new favorite non-stick ceramic cookware from Ozeri with the latest purchase being a 12" wok.

Along with a portable grill, we also carry a Weber Smokey Mountain Cooker.

Unlike most people we know who RV, we knew we would cook a lot on the road and Newmar was the only manufacturer we found who would modify a floorplan to hold all our kitchen stuff. Now that I can't eat gluten, we eat out even less so I'm glad we have room for all this stuff.

Yeah, I forgot those.

And I did smoke six (seven?) pork shoulders in the SWM for my Dad's 80th birthday party. That sort-of counts as catering. LOL.

You definitely seem like our kind of people! Although we didn't custom-order our Beaver, it does have loads of cabinetry and counter space so we can keep things where they are accessible.

The best thing we did was add the residential refrigerator. We were in OR last summer when the albacore were running. We loaded the freezer with 15 meals of albacore and a dozen more of Chinook which lasted us all the way to the Gulf Coast!

Let me know where the banquet is going to be and the Misses and I will be there. We'll even bring some steaks.

I'm sure you'll do fine. When the kitchen was being renovated in our last S&B, our "kitchen" consisted of a table in the garage with a microwave/convection oven, a hot-plate, and a toaster. We did a lot of grilling.
