Induction cooktop fan noise?

I recently purchased a portable True Induction two-burner cooktop for temporary use while we remodel our home kitchen. I figured that it would be a good way to evaluate it before installing one in our MH. I am happy with the way it cooks, but not happy with the cooling fan noise of the countertop model. For those who have a built-in True Induction (or other brand) cooktop in your RV, can you please comment on how much noise escapes from the kitchen cabinets when it is in use?

We have an "iVation" unit, yes it has a fan noise, just didn't think it is that bad. This is our second countertop unit, different brands, both have about the same sound levels. I would think a "Built-in" would pass the sound through the countertop even more.

I sure hope that the built-in unit is quieter. I'm strongly considering a GE built-in for my home kitchen and the True Induction for the motorhome. We're moving quickly toward eliminating propane from our lives, both at home and on the road.
