Installation of LED Ground Effect Lighting

Looking for input from others who have installed (or had installed) ground effects LED lighting on the exterior surround (underside) of their motor-home. I'm planning to do so and after getting quotes, it will be a DIY install, Soft white.

My Questions for those "In the Know"...

Did you utilize 12V DC / 120V AC converters or direct wire into your motorhome's 12V DC system. If direct wired, where did you connect to, i.e. to a blank/unused terminal in your fuse box (located inside of the electrical bay) and if so, what size fuse did you use (i.e. 20-amp).

In part with your installation, did you utilize and first mount TAMI aluminum
extrusions to the undersides of your motorhome (to house the self-adhesive led strip lighting) or did you just apply the self-adhesive to existing metal/fiberglass on the underside of your coach. If you used extrusions, did you also install diffusers?

In terms of power management, did you opt to use a RF controller or combo-RF/Mobile Device App (cell-phone) and if yes, how well has that worked for you?

Did you install a master power switch (i.e. toggle, push/pull, etc) in-line somewhere (i.e. in the dash, overhead compartment above driver) or elsewhere ? (if somewhere else, please indicate where)

Do you typically rely solely upon your remote control or phone (with control app) to turn the LED surround ground effects lighting on/off?

Has your system been reliable, have the LEDs themselves held up? You may mention the brand you used if you choose to do so.

Do you have any regrets having installed them (i.e. due to problems), if so, please elaborate.

FWIW< I've read through many of the threads on the installation of ground effects LEDs but still have the above questions.
