Installed brisk air 2, not working

Hello all, well I'm changing out the old penguins on my rv. I went with the 15000 btu. Cool only.

Ok, so here's what's going on. I turn on the generator and main breaker. And also breaker for front AC. Doesn't come on.. I checked one of the plugs in the kitchen, so there's power. I don't have the cover installed , does that have to be on before unit works?

Does the inverter and transfer switch have to be on?. I had everything off because working with electric.

Thanks, Chris

You will need 12 vdc for control function and 120vac for fan motor and compressor operation. Make certain the house battery bank is connected and the circuit breakers on the generator is on. Verify you have both at the control board. If it does not come on after several minutes (allowing for time delay) try connecting to shore power. If it works on shore power but not generator, you have a bad transfer switch.

Rv wizard, thanks for your reply. I have installed 1 of the 4 battery's and it's fully charged. I checked for power at wall socket and get power, but it shows 108volts with plug in tester. My other wall plugs are off. And it's normal, because the inverter needs to be on.
Do I check for power at the breaker? How would I check AC voltage at the air conditioner? Do I leave attached and check at the wire nuts?

Does this unit have a control board? It's a B59516, non ducted and has ceiling controls.

Thank You, Chris

that unit should have come on when you connected it to 120 power. It is a manual unit with no external thermostat

Thanks for your reply ernie. I have no AC current. Either Shore power or generator. I checked for power at the breaker and nothing. . It worked fine before. This is driving me crazy. Chris

turn all your breakers on, inverter, etc. if you have wire nuts on your new a/c unit, everything should work. are you plugged into shore power?

Ernie, I got it working. The breaker on the generator was tripped and one of the 110 breakers was bad. Got it going. Thanks for your help. Chris

Brisk Airs are great. A little noisy but I don't like to sweat

I added one to my previous coach 3 years ago. All mechanical, no wall thermostat to mess with. Easy install. Make sure all old debris cleaned off the roof so new gasket will be effective

The best thing I did was to rent a material lift.. 50 bux for the day, no fighting with a ladder or strained back. My old ac's gasket was really on there. Plus the PO put silicone over an external gasket. .. still leaked . SMH
