Installed Crossfires today

I installed a set of Crossfires on my rear wheels today. A fairly easy job except that none of the brackets in the kit would work with my 22.5 aluminum wheels with steel hub covers. I ended up having to drill the hub covers and bolt the Crossfires directly to them. Still it looks like a neat installation and I now have a quick visual pressure check as well as via the TPMS.

Very cools Bruce. This has been on my list for some time.

How is your TPMS tied into the system? Do you use a single sensor to monitor two duals as one tire?

I always wondered how the Crossfire would work with a TPMS. If say an inside dual starts to leak, I thought the Crossfire was supposed to isolate that tire so it wouldn't drain both tires via the cross-connection.

If that's the case, if the TPMS is only monitoring the output of the Crossfire, couldn't that inside dual tire continue to go flat without the TPMS seeing it?

I am thinking about installing Crossfires on the rear of my 40' MH. I am grateful to you for posting this. I was worried about mounting the display. From the picture it looks like the display is a little crooked. Will it mount straighter? My second question is did you notice any change in tire balance? My third question is what is the round black piece close to the display?
