Help! My Intellitec BD0 Battery disconnect is not functioning. It will not engage. I press "use" and nothing happens. I press "store" and hold it, the relay clicks and the power is on. . . release it and the relay clicks and the power goes off (the red light on the switch also goes on when the power is on).
I checked the two fuses on the relay and they are o.k. The battery has plenty of voltage. I checked the terminals on the switch and there is no corrosian.
Do I have a bad switch?
Can I test the swithch? The wires are pluged into a circut board)
If I want to use my motorhome, can I connect the two red wires on the relay to get power to my unit?

Check the Intellitec web site: Battery Products
Pretty good documentation there.
If that does not work call them. I had some issues with my battery disconnect system and found out ONLY after calling my Big Boy relay needs to be energized to be picked up. This is not the way it is described on the published literature.

The Intellitec battery disconnect solenoid is a latching type solenoid and for it to close momentarily when pressing the store side of the switch would lead me to believe that a polarity issue could be the source of the problem. Verify that the control wiring polarity is correct on the solenoid and if so then the switch assembly is probably bad. You can connect the two large red cables together to power the coach for use.
