interior lights

2006 Coachmen Miranda.

I am totally new to the RV world so please excuse my ignorance just this time!

Couple of Questions for you RV Masters;

1st, The 2 front roof interior light work, the middle 2 dont work, and all of the back work. Just a fuse? if so what fuse box?

2nd, Out let that the TV plugs into has no power.

3rd, On my dash on the left side next to the emergency start toggle is another factory toggle that has no label. What does this control?

Thanks for any help

You probably have not found the other switches for the center lights. Such as right on the end of the fixture. Now is a good time to learn how to use a test light. You could swap bulbs from one that is working but having two fixtures out seems unlikely.

Take the lens cover off and find the mounting screws. Drop the fixture and find the two wires that feed it and put a test light across them. If it doesn't light up you can work backwards. Of course as you are hoping it is a fuse somewhere and they can hide those in many places. We have a pile in the bedroom closet for example. Then at least three more planels throughout.

Fuses for house items are usually together in a 12 v panel, including water heater, furnace, etc. Are you sure the two lights out aren't on a wall switch? Use a multimeter to test for 12 v at the lights.

The first evening we parked our new RV on the street and ordered pizza and invited the neighbors. I asked all the kids to flip switches and then report back what they did. I still found one some time later next to the rear bed that controls the radio in the dash. A bit of a rude awakening when someone hit it by mistake. Finding a three way switch for a couple of inside lights was a bit confusing as well. With Dymo labeler in hand many switches sport new titles.
