Intermittent 12v Lights

I have some intermittant 12v lights, they all are in the same slide. I changed all the bulbs and the switches because they seemed to be that intermittant. now today they have come on by themselves and had to be turned off. (there is one other intermittant light in the bedroom) We just got this unit and we got it cheaper because of some issues but they all are fixable, this one just seems weird. Any suggestions? thanks

Are these lights remote controlled? If so change the batteries.

Possible there is an electrical box under the slide with a loose connection. That happened to me.

If it's all the lights in the slideout then I too would suspect a loose wiring connection going to the slideout.

The row of lights down the center of the ceiling were cutting in and out and it turned out to be a bad wirenut connection at the first light.

From your description something more complex is going on. A simple loose connection can't make the lights come on unless you left the switch on.

If you see a mysterious black box in the wiring then it's probably the culprit. Smart switches, remotes, monitoring and even some dimmers can make funny things happen.

I don't have any smart switches. it took me awhile to get back to this i was fixing other stuff. looked under the slide, no junction box. took off each fixture, all the wire nuts are crimp style and ok. i found a junction in the wall, again crimp wire nuts and all ok. not sure what is next.
