Inverter install with wiring layout

Looking at the Samlex 1500 or 2000 w pure sine wave with transfer switch.

St 2000.

It doesn't not have a charger, samlex says keep my present charger it will work no problem, (heard that before)

The unit is about $500-550

I'm using this in conjunction with 600 w of solar & 4 6v golf batteries.

anyone link me to rv wiring diagrams?

I was going have the solar go thru the controller to batteries, leave the charger wiring, add the inverter from the batteries, then run a #12 wire to the main panel.

What other items might I need fuses, battery isolators etc.

What happens if the Generator comes on or shore power any concerns there?

Differing somewhat from what you are outlining, but simpler to implement, is to setup for whole house power by just plugging in the shore power cord to the inverter. One must then manage the disable of the battery charger so as not to have a charging loop (I seldom have it on anyway, just let the solar do all the charging) remember not to engage air conditioning, and switch refrig to propane if applicable. My shore power cord is either plugged into a CG pedestal or the inverter all times. If running the genny the transfer switch disconnects the inverter as if it were shore power.

Attached is a write up with block diagram of my wiring.

I have a 2000w PSW Inverter/charger made by Samlex that works very well. I often have the charger part turned off, as my onboard charger/converter, a PD-9260, works even better for charging.

Not a diagram, but good basic reading and it will point out the extra cabling and devices that you will need.

What are you going to do with it when it reaches the panel? You need to decide what circuits in the panel will ultimately be fed from the inverter.

You bet there are! You seem to have forgotten that the inverter has an automatic transfer switch that must be wired into you main breaker panel to pass through any power coming from the generator/shore power. It's ONLY when this power is absent that you want your inverter to provide power made from your batteries. I'll attach a very basic block diagram, but you need to develop your own detailed wiring plan. I do have other diagrams with suggested wire/cable sizes, and significantly more detail, if you want.
