Inverter noise and installation

I'm looking at installing a 1500 to 2000 watt inverter in our 2017 ACE 30.1 and am pondering installation alternatives.

First alternative is to install an inverter in a storage compartment. The battery compartment is on the driver's side just behind the front wheel. The closest storage compartment is about 10 cable feet away (the generator is between it and the batteries). This is going to require at least 2-0 battery cable.

Another alternative is on the cabin floor behind the driver's seat. This is a lot shorter run (3-4 cable feet) but I'm concerned about inverter noise.

Does anyone have experience with installing an inverter inside the coach and have advise on noise level or installation tricks? I'm looking at Samlex inverters as the cheap Chinese ones look fairly scary. My only experience point is that we have a BestTex 300W full sine wave inverter and the fan noise is almost to the point where we don't want to use.

My Xantrex inverter is in the basement battery compartment and the hum can still be faintly heard inside the coach if the TV and radio are off.
