Is there a fuse for the Westherpro awning?

Retracted my awning this morning after having a new motor installed a few days ago. Went to deploy the awning after moving to a new park and nothing. No 12v power to the control panel for the awning. All other 12v systems seem to be working.

Thinking there may be a fuse but no 12v fuse labeled awning in the fuse box. What gives??

Found that fuse in the control box and it looks good. Using a volt meter, checked all the 12V fused and they seem good. Since my awning is “locked out” when the ignition switch is on thus preventing an accidental extend, wondering if there is a connection somewhere near the ignition which has come lose.

And wondering if this “lock out” actually kills all power to the control box as there seems to be no power coming out of the 12v power connector to the control box. Really perplexed as to why I have lost 12V power only to the awning control box. All other 12V systems are working as they should.

Kinda stumped on this

Recommend you replace the fuse even though it appears good and retry awning. Then, if no success ... you could try either / both of the following:

- Start the engine for a few minutes and then turn it off - try the awning
- Shut down your 12V system - let it sit 10 minutes - restart 12V and try the awning

Thanks...will try and report back sometime today. Just had the awning motor replaced Sunday...not sure if there is a connection. But currently no power at the control box...

Oh happy day! Found another fuse box up front and lo and behold there was a 15A fuse that had blown. The manufacturer sent 12v power to the awning via a fuse labeled “heated seats”, which we do not have.

It’s all good now!! Thought I’d report back.
