Keep or dispose of old house batteries

Hi,

I have 4 new Lifeline GPL 4cts due to be delivered tomorrow.

I was going to bring the old batteries to the recyling center.

Any reason to keep the batteries?

Sell them on CL or FB for $10 or ? if they still hold a charge. Be great for an old farm tractor.

Recycling will net you a lot more than $10.00 / battery!

I did not know that. These are 12 volt marine batteries.

It's the core metals voltage doesn't matter. It's about weight
