Larger Backup Camera Screen

Really want to hook up larger screen to 08 F250 backup camera. The screen in rearview mirror is so small. These old eyes need bigger picture. I would think any tech gurus could chime in here and see if there is a solution to this problem. I'm sure others have this same dilemma. Thanks for any imput.

Have you called a Ford parts department? I am sure a monitor can be mounted on or maybe in the dash (if a large enough space is available). You will have to supply power and the video feed to the monitor. Ford may have a harness that will intersect the mirror harness under the dash and make the job much easier.

Yeah, the tricky part is intercepting the video signal, there are monitors up to 10-inch that are designed for dashboard mounting, or 7-inch in-mirror models that might be able to be fitted in place of what you have. But it would need to be done by someone who knew where that video is routed.
