Has anyone added a larger propane tank to their moho?
Our Jayco Seneca 34ss has a 13 gallon tank which is less than our toyhauler had.
There looks to be a foot or more of room to the rear of the tank and would really like to get more capacity for a reasonable price.
I am continuing be be amazed at how small the fresh water & holding tanks and propane tank is compared to our old trailer.
I would like a 20 to 30 gallon tank depending what will fit.
Part of the reason is when parked for a period of time we leave it "set to go"
not knowing when an off-road riding weekend or event may occur.
With our trailer I would just pull the tanks and get them filled but with the
moho I will have to drive it to be filled.
When the roads are bad it is a problem and I suppose the hose to plug in a 5 gallon tank will
have to suffice but if a larger tank is in place that could be avoided.

I'm pretty happy with with my Extend A Stay. With it gives me about 21 gals total. We've made several 1-2 week trips and never touched the main tank.

I have found several site online with larger propane tanks. I am looking at a pair made of aluminum. Pricy but will help keep weight down.

External tank with hose "T" into main line is easy and handy.

I added a tee, a valve and high pressue line to the old MH. Tapped in BEFORE the pressure regulator. Also had 30' of HP hose so we could put tanks out of the way when they were hooked up. We had two 20# tanks and a 100# tank we rotated thru. Used the 100# MH tank as back-up, if other 3 went empty. Used this setup all last winter.

"New" MH already had a tee and line attached before the pressure regulator. No valve. It's like a long bar-b-que line with the hand-tighten quick release on it. Could be an "extended stay" setup from PO. Also got a 30# and a 40# tank with the MH. Had to screw an adapter in the 100# tank for the quick release.

Now we have two 20#, a 30#, a 40# and a 100# to swap out. Plus the 100# on the MH. All 5 loose tanks can be taken and filled at any time. We have them filled, never swap out.

You may find the answer here:

Everything you wanted to know about Propane

A propane dealer also would likely know the answer.

On the propane capacity of your 20 lb. tanks...when I replaced the two old style tanks in my truck camper, I got tanks that didn't allow as much of a fill.
They put in a valve that shuts off at 80% of the original tank, which was 5 gallons. You should therefore be able to fill your tanks with 4 gallons.
