LED question
I'd like to add a strip of led's to our closet...can the strip just be wired to the current fixture switch?

Most LED strips are polarity sensitive so if they don't work the first time, reverse the wires.
I prefer the cool white for inside a closet. If for example you have a pair of black socks and dark blue socks, it's easier (at least for me) to see the difference with cool. (cool white sometimes looks blue and many don't like that for that reason). I prefer the warm white light in the living portion of the
RV.

Yes, I did exactly the same thing last spring on our "New-to-Us" Southwind. The LED strip lights up the entire closet, and there's no linger a bulb to get hot.
As mentioned by others, the LEDs may be sensitive to correct polarity. Here's short article on how I did mine:

I'm assuming the current fixture switch and current fixture are NOT powered by 120V AC?

If you use the 12 volt flexible light strips, get a 12 volt pigtail that the light strip will plug into......there's an arrow on each to keep polarity correct

We have installed several strips of the LEDs in ours and love them.

RF works like a tv remote....RF doesn't use line of sight....could be clear across room, have RF controller outside, and it'll still work it functions
