We changed ours out with these from jirahled.com. Tom's usually at most RV rallies & puts on an informational seminar as well.

Took out the old bulbs, removed the ballasts & connected these to the existing wiring. Had to get some industrial double-sided tape to get them to stay stuck to the fixture as the adhesive they came with wouldn't hold.

Cheap replacement

I took down all of my fluorescent fixtures, gutted them completely except the switch, and used the 48 diode sticky back LED panels from e-bay @ 17.99/10. These are the ones that come with the adapters to be used to replace incandescent bulbs in dome lights etc. I soldered and shrink tubed splices, 4 panels in each fixture. Less than $3.20 to convert each fixture - they work great!!!

A roll of LEDs with adhesive backing and wire them in. Cheapest and best.
