I am considering changing my lights over to LEDs but have heard that they cause RFI on amateur radios. Has this problem been resolved and if so which brands are RFI free??
Thank you for all replies in advance.

I've changed all my lights to LEDs and have never had a problem with RFI when I'm on the air.

It is more likely that your RF will cause the LED's to flicker. If there is a problem it should be easy to detect (at night) because the LED's will flicker (light up when turned off). If you are getting RF drop a split bead on the LED power wires, problem solved. The LED's will still flicker but you won't have the RFI.

Remember that a LED is a diode and they do a good job detecting RF and the voltage is fed back into the wiring.

Led's will cause much less of a problem than compact or otherwise fluorescent lights.
