Leveling Newmar Canyon Star

Where is the correct or best place to look for level. Examples could be the floor, inside refrigerator, counter, on top of auto level control, or ????

Not a CS but I use the kitchen counter. I use a round bubble level and close is good enough.

I bought a LevelMate and need to calibrate it, so want to get as close to level as possible.

Whenver I'm looking to level I go to the center of the coach. Our bathroom is central and the door is a good indicator of level. I pick the area where the door would close as the place I place my level to calibrate the leveling system.

I use a bubble level on the counter top. After that, I fine tune with the bathroom door. First opened about 10 degrees to check side to side, then opened 90 degrees to check front to back. When it doesn't open or close by itself in either position, I am happy.

Since dumping the old Norcold, this way works the best for us because we are setting the level to work for us, not the dinosaur refrigerator.

You can get a quick, accurate sight reading by checking the standing water in your toilet bowl. Any off-level discrepancy will show immediately.

I also check the floor toward the front. Bathrooms and kitchen counters are often near the center of the coach. That's fine, but it won't show you any wracking that may have been introduced to the frame.

I get it close with the lights on the HWH panel, then bubble level on the kitchen floor as a confirmation. I also open the refer door and place the bubble level on the flat level surface just inside the door. The refer is the real reason for trying to get level anyway if you have a gas/electric refer.
