Recently obtained a small single axle 1986 Layton TT (T1550) with a Duo-Therm 66100 series furnace (model 66112). It came with both installation & owners manuals. They are vague as to lighting the pilot or what lighting system it has on this particular furnace.
I know it's not equipped with a piezo, with it's age did not see a igniter so I guess it lights with a match? The "sight window" would need to be removed every time. Am I on the right track here? Could I somehow adapt a generic piezo from a gas grill to make lighting easier?
