lights change in intensity

I hope someone can help me find the reason why my lights change in intensity it seems like every hour or so. I have a 2007 Fleetwood bounder35e. I have the original type bulbs with no led's. We are parked down on the gulf coast for the winter and on shore power in the park. Could it be that something in the electrical system be on it's way out? I'd like to be prepared being that we are living in it full-time. This fluctuation in power just started recently. We have been full-timing in it for a year and a half and haven't had this annoyance until recently. Thanks in advance for any help out there ,Bruc.

Most likely bad coach batteries. They are not holding a charge and your converter is constantly trying to charge them.

First check the batteries fluid level, and connections, and have the batteries load tested. If all ok.
Then monitor the voltage output of the converter/charger, to the batteries when the lights are in both intensities. You issue sounds like one I had a couple of months before having to replace my converter/charger.
If you don't have a stand alone; portable; battery charger, it would be an idea to pick one up.My 10/6/2 amp charger kept the coach systems operational for 3 days while waiting for the new C/C to be delivered.

Could be your charger is going into different charging "stages" because of the battery condition. Normally your batteries would be in "float" stage at a constant voltage. If something was going on with the batteries, the charger might be going in and out of "absorption" charging stage.

I would have the batteries tested.

You could ask your neighbors if they are seeing the same thing and get one of these: http://www.amazon.com/80-300V-Voltag...BNW29RGG1DVX5C It's not a bad idea to have one anyway. I agree with the other posters that you likely have a battery/converter issue but try the obvious and cheapest approach first. Do you have any 110V appliances giving the same symptoms? If so, it could be the park power. I would also use a whole house surge protector if you are not already. Hope you find the issue and let us know.
