Jenn Air refer and 3000W SW inverter. No problems with it on inverter or shore power.

It will probably take a saw to get it out but it is very solid. Haven't tried the inverter yet but on 110v I can not hear it running inside the coach.

You might need to check the manuals, usually a refer needs a certain amount of air flow and they give a clear air space requirement. Have you checked that to be sure you have enough clearance?

Abitbig, I see Mr D beat me to it. How do you circulate air around your refrigerator? Did you leave the original rear and roof vents open?

There is a large louvered vent panel to the outside. And with no gas burner to heat things up it stays nice and cool. The foam is just around the face frame. The enclosure has plenty of room.

Secured it with both front brackets and to the floor in the rear.
Very satisfied with the upgrade. Presently in Tucson, AZ with temps over 100 in the daytime. Runs a steady 38/0 degrees plus or minus 2 degrees.

You have the exact same setup as I . My wife says it was the best thing I have ever done. One question , how do you secure the doors when traveling? I used small cabinet hasps with the part on the door secured using double face 3M auto trim tape. Just wondered if there was a better plan.

If you go back to post #13 you will see 2 black strips one for freezer door and one fridge door tucked into the pantry. Before sliding in the fridge I stapled 2 heavy duty Velcro (fuzzy side) doubled with adhesive strips inside and fuzzy outside. When in motion we stick it to prickly strips on side of freezer and fridge doors. When stopped we tuck fuzzy into the pantry to keep it out of the way (as seen in pics). If you decide to go this way you would have to pull fridge out to staple the fuzzy strips to the inside of the cabinet.

Follow up:
If you stay in RV Systems and Tech. Go to post Norcold is dead. Repair or replace with residential. On post # 13 of that topic their is a better picture of the Velcro strips in travel and park positions.
