LP gas

I have a Beaver Patriot that the LP gas sensor keeps going off....Have coach in building with refrigerator shut off and the main gas valve closed,,,How can I reset the alarm where it doesn't continually go off?

Our LP/CO combination detector would intermittently go off and the only way to reset it was to pull the fuse, wait a few minutes and then reinstall. I think it's true that sometimes the alarm will go off if the battery levels get low. That may have been the case with mine a couple of times, but other times we were plugged in. I ended up replacing it yesterday hoping that that will be one less thing to wake me up at 2 AM.

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!

LP gas sensors have a fixed lifespan. It could also just be defective. You can remove it from the wall and look at the code date. I believe they recommend a 5-year replacement! Have fun and keep her between the ditches!

I've heard that some of them will alarm if the battery voltage gets too low. If you're in storage but not hooked up to power that might be the problem. We don't know much more about your rig so can't give any specific help if it exists.
