LP Norcold Cleaning Procedure

I have a No-Cold 1200 that needs to have the Gas (LP) cleaned is there somewhere I can go to get the complete procedure ?

Also need to find the wiring diagram for No-Cold recall...... Apparently mine has been disconnected...... Just found out the BLUE WIRE goes no where......

I'll be home in a few days..... At Quartzsite right now

Thanks LeeB

been a while don't remember the blue wire but in essence the ground and the power wires from factory plug into black box and the two wires from the box go onto the + and - of circuit board.if u mix them up fridge wont turn on and u simply reverse them . The black box may have failed and that's why its disconnected. If so it can be reset with "strong" magnet by passing it back and forth below the red lite area until the red lite illuminates.you will hear a "click"

As for the cleaning, it's very simple. Just remove the burner tube/orifice from the bottom of the stack and from the end of the copper tube. Soak it in 91% alcohol for several hours, then blow it out good with compressed air.

HUGE caution here! DO NOT use anything above about 40 lbs pressure! I made the mistake of using the 120 PSI from the MH air tank and ruined the orifice!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

Don't bother using compressed air.

After soaking in alcohol just blow it out using your breath .
Alcohol does the cleaning....no real need for compressed air
Propane system is ONLY 0.4psi

And by all means do NOT stick ANYTHING thru orifice
