LP Safety shutoff solenoid

While checking and cleaning around my LP tank compartment on our '16 Berkshire 38A, there is an LP safety shutoff solenoid. It is more than warm to the touch, so much so you can't hold your hand to it. Not hot enough to burn you, but it doesn't seem right to me. Anyone have experience with the valves?

Typically those draw 1A DC and are rated for temps up to 170*F

Thanks for that, that eases my mind a bit. Have owned multiple TTs but this is my first coach and none of those had the shutoff protection. And thanks for the quick response, happy Thanksgiving for you guys.
