LP Tank bay quick connect

Does anyone know what the quick connect fitting in the LP Tank bay is for on my 99 Monaco Windsor?

If it's downstream of the regulator it should be for supplying propane to a grill or other propane accessory like a fire pit or heater.

That's what mine does anyway. Asked the same question about mine. Tried it this and worked great.
