Lp valve ?

No heat! Brrrrr !
Lp tanks full, I open the valve both tanks full, shows RED line for both tanks.
Took valve off to get a new one from mobile repair guy that was in the campground. Said I might be opening tank valves to fast. Put it all back, opened valves slowly, still reads red line for both tanks. Any ideas ?

YES....opening service valves on propane cylinders can trip excess flow devices limiting the flow of propane
Closing service valves, wait couple minutes and then slowly opening service valve can reset them.
Should hear a 'click' when first opening service valve.

Excess flow device is IN the Big Green ACME Nut that you hand tighten to propane cylinder.

Course with your rig being a 2011 vintage those ACME pigtail hoses could be bad and/or regulator
Green/Red Indicator is a function of porting within 1st stage section of regulator.

Might be time for new reg and ACME pigtail hoses.

Cavagna 924N auto change reg good replacement

MEGR-298 is an adequate replacement reg also

Thanks for the info ! After I let it set for a bit it opened up !
I would like to recommend the MOBILE RV TEC that I talked to here at Riverside RV PARK in Sevierville, TN. I thought I needed a valve and approached him to see if he had one. After asking a few questions he determined it was the cutoff activating. They could have charged me service call, and a new valve, but instead gave me friendly advice !
If ya need service when in Pigeon Forge area call :

Thanks David for you integrity !
