Rather than spending $1300.00 on a replacement tv frig in my 85 Pace Arrow, we decided on a residential frig. I bought a 10cu/ft magic chef @ home depot for $298.00.
When I took it out of the box I learned that it is supposed to have 5" on each side & rear , & that the external surfaces well be warmer when it's running, it gets rid of the heat that way.
Does anyone see this as a real issue ? Or don't worry about it ?

how much room will it end up with in the rv? maybe some forced-air cooling with fans will do it.

If you don't have room to give it the clearance you need, return it and get one that doesn't need so much room.

Ron, no coils on back. The dimensions of this fit almost perfect . I'd like to use it unless it'll be sn issue.

Mine is Whirlpool 10 cu. ft. Mod.#ETOMSRXT001. I bought it at Lowes $300. It Has Coils on back. Sorry,I thought we had a Magic Chef,Till I looked.
If you have already bought it,you might try it with a fan at the back or top.

if its that tight, i would swap it out for a slightly narrower one, or one with a coil on the back. sounds like a can o' worms to me...
