Back burners only run in high setting.Stop in valve doesn't allow down adjust. Is this the way they came?Could I remove stop to make same as front burner and have it become adjustible? Not sure if long gas tube to rear burners would work OK if gas flow was lowered.

All 3 should be the same.

Try pushing in slightly on the knob and see if it allows you to adust flame. There is typically a built-in "soft" stop at the lighting (high) position.

Tube length to burner is not an issue.

Tried that, inside valve is open slot and you can see washer with tabs sticking out from it.so. Front burner has one tab which let's valve go from stop to stop 270 degrees.back burners have 2 tabs with 110 degs. Travel.2004 bounder

Mine is similar and has been that way since it was new. My two rear burners can be adjusted, but it has to be done with a very small movement of the knob.
They are also lower BTUs than the front burner (because of proximity to walls) and do not have a very high flame.
