Micathermic VS Oil Filled heaters?

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with either of these heaters? I will be spending a few months in my MH and have considered both of these. The ole propane heater is way too loud loves the propane!

I have just recently heard about the micathermic heater which is supposedly quiet but sucks lotsa power so might not be useful for boondocking? It is relatively flat and can mount on a wall which is nice for saving essential space.

The oil-filled sounds reliable too but I dont like the idea of its bulkiness?

Any thoughts on this? Does one heat better than the other? One quieter etc?

I can get two oil heaters for the same price as the mica and considered putting one at either end of the MH. The mica I'd just buy one and hang in the middle. hmmm

as always..thx for the opinions!

From what I have seen you get out of a heater what you put in in electricity with no real efficiency advantage. The Mica put out about 80% radiant and 20% convection so you want them pointed at you. Energy @ UNSW - Portable/Personal Heating Program
I have a ceramic heater for when we have shore power and an Espar Airtronic diesel heater when boondocking. The Esdpar is set up in a separate housing with its own fuel tank running kerosene and piped through the side of our teardrop trailer.
