I has a start/stop switch on the generator. Connect good 12vdc to solenoid and frame, provide fuel to carb and isolate the 120 vac conductors before starting. Good luck and keep us posted.

I actually found a brand new generator on Craigslist for 2,000. It was still in box on pallet with all manuals and remote switch. I ended up installing it this weekend and broke it in. It runs great, glad I pulled the trigger.
