Monaco - Safari - air conditioning ceiling duct

Last may 2013 there was a thread up about collapsed ceiling duct work.

http://www.irv2.com/forums/f54/a-c-d...ab-162093.html

Well after 3 years of new to us ownership, I was never really satisfied with the comfort level on our two roof top AC's. The rear did pretty well but the front with two slides suffered. We are traveling more in the warmer months since DW retired, so this am before football I went out and inspected my ductwork after taking off both covers.
As Gomer Pyle used to say, "Surprise, surprise, surprise!"
Most all were collapsed letting minimal air flow through, so I cut 16 - 3/4 white pvc 1 1/4 tall and went through and placed them a couple of inches back in the center of each duct, including both sides of the roof airs. Voila, much better now...
If you are not happy with your roof ac performance, a quick look see and you may be surprised at what you see. Took DW and I about an hour to hour and a half to go through and raise all of them....

Thanks for the "heads-up". I have noticed that the air from our front AC does not seem to be flowing towards the back of the coach like it used to. I will check this out. I really never considered that the ducts would collapse.
