Hi All
I currently have two reversing cameras, one at the back and one in the front. Not quite sure why the previous owner put one in the front, since I can see through the window anyway, but I will admit it was handy when free-parking one night to be able to see in front of the coach without pulling the blinds.

Anyway, I would like to shift the front camera to the side of the coach so that I can see where I am in relation to the dump valve. Remember that my vehicle has been changed to right hand drive for New Zealand so the dump is on the other side of the coach for me. Any ideas on where and how to mount it? Anything I should look out for? Can I mount it near the bottom of the coach (easier to run the cables)? Any ideas greatfully received, I am finding this site a mine of information on all sorts of stuff. Many thanks in advance.

Graham I can see your problem. You will have to run a new wire, under coach, or splice out existing so I would put camera on sidewall directly over the tank dump bay, clearing open door, which should give you a good view. The wires can run through cabinets inside than to the outside for camera just use some good sealent for holes.
Your Monitor could have another camera input that you could run new to location and leave the front one for security reasons.

Thanks 007
I think the monitor has only two inputs, and since I already have a reversing camera, the dump site camera will be the second. I am happy to get a camera with sound - I guess smell would not be a good option?

Or you could buy a simple Video Source switch with multiple Camera inputs and add another 3 Cameras ! These devices are available wherever the Cameras are sold.
