Need Dometic Refrigerator Part

Not sure if this is the best place to post a request. I have a 1997 Dometic RM 7732, double door refrigerator in our motorhome and I'm in need of the locking device that's overhead. The part # 2932745017.
I've looked everywhere for this part, new or used. Any help would be appreciated. -Dave

I have the same frig. and I also need the same part. I contacted Dometic and said that this part was no longer available (this was a couple of years ago). I've been looking high and low since then and have not had any luck. I had both pieces, which I tried to glue, without any luck as well. I just tie the two handles together with a Gear Tie strap, which is a reusable rubber twist tie. These are available at our local lumber yard. Handy! Good luck in your search.

I just went over to Google and used the phrase:

"RV salvage yard"

The first page had several ads on it, 3 or 4 yards and 2 or 3 lists of yards.

That's who I'd be calling.

Good luck...
