Need help on generator

Hi Everybody,
I have a 1999 tropical motorhome.I just bought it.Does anyone know how the generator works.It doesn't work.I need to know what battery works it or how to get power to the generator.Any help will be appricated.

Genset works off the house battery probably under the steps,gas tank needs to be at least 1/4 or more for genset to work,oil in genset must be full,it has a senor for oil level.Also make sure gas is fresh,stale gas will ruin genset and rv engine.You might want to run a hose from genset fuel pump into gas can.Make sure battery is fully charged,and give it a try hit the genset start button and see what happens.
