We have a 50 amp power cord on our KZ 5er. When we returned from our last trip I went to plug in the RV at home and discovered that the ring that locks the plug to the RV was gone. My problem is that so far the only way I can get a replacement ring is to buy the whole boot for $34.00 just to get a 50 cent plastic locking ring. Does anyone know where I can order just the ring? Thanks for any help you can give.

You probably won't be able to find one because the mfgs don't sell pieces. You might be able to find someone who as a plug that is broken or burned that you can get.

Thanks for the quick reply. You just told me what I was kinda expecting to hear. I didn't realize that stupid little locking ring would pop right off. It's not the first time I screwed up and expect that sooner or later I'll goof up again. I'll try to sweet talk one off of my dealer. Maybe he has an old cord laying around. He has always been very good to me.

The ring comes i two types, and Campigng World and most RV stores sell both. Heck, I may even have a spare (I can check tomrorrow) Since I replaced my OEM's with the other kind. But just check out an RV store or CW The 50 amp MarineCo connector is standard on nearly all 50 amp rigs, odds are in the high 90's that they have it.
