need help with washer/dryer

I am having trouble with my Splendide 2000S washer/dryer combo. I cannot get it to dry without washing first. Then when I try to wash and dry the knob keeps turning around and around. What am I doing wrong.

The Splendide does not much like to have you tamper with the controls - it really likes to start a cycle and manage on its own to the end. The knob will spin round & round if it has not yet completed the previous cycle, so you need to get to a normal end before you can set for Dry only. Merely turning it OFF does not end the previously programmed cycle, so it needs to be RESET before you can enter a new one, e.g. Dry Only.

You should be able to set the big dial to RESET to end the current cycle. Then set the big knob to one of the DRY positions and put the Dry Time on the other knob and press On. That should do it.
