Need RM7030 door
Anyone have an old Dometic RM7030 laying around they would like to part out? My refrigerator door hinge broke on the bottom of the door and it doesn't seem fixable. I've tried all the rv salvage yards and appliance houses I could google and no luck so far on a door. Even replacing the entire fridge is a pita because nothing is made in that size anymore.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Not sure about your particular model, but Ebay has a number of listings for hinge repair or replacements.
dometic refrigerator hinge repair | eBay
On our first trip in our RV a tire repair guy dropped the RV off the jack and it fell about a foot. Later we discovered the top hinge on our Dometic fridge had broken. I repaired it with a piece of flat bar aluminum and it's held up for over 3 years.

Update
I tried the hinge replacement route. The people that made the ones I found did not make them for my model of refrigerator.
So I took it to Sumner RV near me and they were able to remove a hinge from the other side of the door (they are glued on) and replace the missing one. Saved my bacon.
All the replacement options are terrible, so I can put it off a bit longer.
Would like to hear from people that are using a residential refrigerator. The owner of a different rv center assured me that they are the way to go. But I do mostly dry camping and am worried my battery life would not be long enough to keep everything running between generator cycles. I have 2 8d agm house batteries. I'm thinking maybe with some solar panels.

Thanks for the update, I have a 95 Country Coach Magna with the same issue broken bottom hinge on RM7030 fridge. Good idea to flip the hinges. You mentioned they were glued on. Do you know how the shop fixed them? Did they use heat to remove the glue?

We have an Jenn Air home double door refer freezer, 400 watts of solar and 4 8d AGM's for the house. No idea how long we can "boondock" as we usually travel two days then hit an RV park. Right now I've got at least one bad AGM as it's bulged and hot. Just don't have the $2000 to replace them right now!

That would be another thing to look into doing.

Sorry, I don't know. Should have asked. I know they used a special bonding agent to attach them, but not what kind. Maybe you could ship your door to them. Or you could try calling them. So far it's holding up well. I made some bushings from parts I got at the hardware store so there would not be any free play.
