I've heard from several people and read on forums that Xantrex is less than helpful when you call. Even on units that are under warranty. Oh well, I guess they're happy with their bottom line, or they think that once their units are out of warranty no one else is smart enough to work on them
The previous owner said it works fine with good output for about 5 minutes under a load then just kicks off. My first guess is that a component is just on the edge of its operating temp, a bad solder joint or a control circuit is "confused". I'll open it up and take a look, it will give me a good summer project
