Never Empty Your Black Tank Again !!!

Here is a copy & paste from the most current RV Travel Newsletter that I thought maybe other people who don't subscribe may like to read.

When this technology becomes available, people that happen to be following a diesel powered motor-coach down the road will be getting very conflicting aromas coming from the engine exhaust pipe.

Those that currently burn recycled cooking oil to supplement their diesel will usually smell like French Fries but when you now add this new technology to the mix which will eliminate having to ever dump your black tank, I just can't imagine what it will be like having to follow one of these vehicles on a hot summer night.

OMG!

New technology eliminates need to dump RV waste holding tanks.

If the invention by Namon Nassef takes off, many RVers will never need to dump their black water holding tanks again. Nassef, president of Nassef Engineering and Equipment Company, has developed a new way to dispose of RV waste that uses an RV's engine heat to eliminate sewage from RVs.

RV Toilets: New invention eliminates need to dump holding tanks

Thetford marketed a system like this back in the 70's. It was optional on the old GM motorhome. They were famous for being pretty touchy and they tended to clog up which led to an unpleasant clean out job for someone.

If it works as advertised it says it will not emit any orders. I would like to see how this works out.

That is the big "IF". Wonder what it would smell like if you were beind a diesel burning used French fry oil and a malfunctioning black tank waste unit.....just wondering...

For those that use a generator or an Aqua-Hot system, maybe it could be diverted to one or both of those devices to burn off the waste.

After a few uses at least you wouldn't have to worry about your neighbors camping too close to you.

Old technology usually gets better.................I would like to see it in action. I am curious since they say it doesn't have any odor. But I would be wondering what happens if it gets plugged up or something.....

If you can keep it from clogging, odors are unlikely. Depending on where you are in the exhaust system, 1,000+ degrees is available. That temp guarantees everything is thoroughly burned up and sanitized provided you keep the flow rate into the ehaust low enough. If I remember correctly, the old system only did about one gallon per hour. IF it didn't clog.
