New A/C thermostat wiring issue

Please help if you can! I have a 2008 Gulfstream cavalier which had a Duo-Therm (Dometic) original AC thermostat. I just purchased a Coleman RVP, P/N: 8530A345 Digital thermostat.
My original configuration looked like this: (from left to right: wire color> terminal name)
Red, (+7.5)
Yellow, cool
White, heat/furnace
Blue, hi Fan
Brown, fan
Green, ground

How I wired the new thermostat:
(Wire, terminal)
Red, +12 VDC
Yellow, compressor
White, furnace
Blue, hi fan
Brown, low fan
Green, -12 VDC

The switches doing nothing. The only thing I have is a display that shows the current room temperature. This thermostat does not take batteries.

I don't believe you can mismatch brands of thermostats and air conditioning equipment. You will need to use a Dometic (DuoTherm) brand T'stat.
